In short
Triggerfy automates replies to people who interact with your Instagram account. Use it for your own accounts, follow Instagram’s rules, and don’t send spam or misleading content.
Paid plans renew until you cancel, and cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy. These Terms are governed by Indian law.
Who we are and accepting these Terms
Triggerfy is operated by [Your full legal name], an individual based in India, at [Your full postal address], India (“Triggerfy”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, connecting an Instagram account or using Triggerfy (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy and Fair Usage Policy, which form part of these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
What Triggerfy does
Triggerfy automates replies on Instagram Professional accounts: for example, sending a DM when someone comments a keyword on your post or reel, replies to your story or messages you, and then guiding that conversation (follow-to-unlock, links, email capture, follow-ups). Features and limits depend on your plan, as shown on our pricing page.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you can bind it.
- You need an Instagram Professional (Business or Creator) account that you own or are authorised to manage.
- Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at support@triggerfy.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person or business per account. Don’t share, sell or transfer your account.
Instagram and Meta
- Triggerfy is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta or Instagram. We connect through Meta’s official Instagram API, using only the permissions you grant.
- You must follow Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and Meta’s messaging policies at all times. Triggerfy only replies to people who interacted with you first, inside the 24-hour window Instagram allows.
- Meta controls its platform and may change its APIs, limits or policies, or restrict your account, at any time. That can affect how Triggerfy works. We aren’t responsible for Meta’s decisions, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
- You can disconnect Instagram at any time from Settings → Instagram, or from your Instagram settings.
Plans, billing and taxes
- We offer a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Elite). Features, limits and prices are on the pricing page. We may change them for future billing periods, with notice (see below).
- Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees through Razorpay, monthly or yearly, in advance.
- The price on the pricing page is the amount you pay. If we become required to charge GST or another tax, it will be shown before you pay.
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Recurring payments follow RBI rules on e-mandates, including any pre-debit notice and authentication they require.
- If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries it over the next few days and your plan keeps working meanwhile. If every retry fails, the paid plan ends and your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted: automations above the Free limits are paused until you upgrade again.
- Upgrading from Pro to Elite starts a new Elite subscription and stops Pro’s charges. Unused Pro time is not credited or refunded.
- We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase. It applies from your next renewal after that.
- There is no free trial; the Free plan lets you try the product before paying.
- We never receive or store full card numbers or UPI PINs. Razorpay processes payments under its own terms.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. How cancellation works is in the Cancellation Policy, and when you can get money back is in the Refund Policy.
Your content and your audience
- You are responsible for the messages, links, offers and images you set up, and for everything sent from your account through Triggerfy.
- You are the Data Fiduciary for your audience’s data and we process it on your behalf. You must have a lawful basis to message people and to collect their data. If you use email capture, tell people clearly what you’re collecting and why, and honour requests to stop messaging them.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, including Indian laws on consumer protection, advertising (including ASCI guidelines on influencer disclosures), data protection and electronic communications.
Acceptable use
You must not use Triggerfy to:
- send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages to people who haven’t interacted with you;
- send content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit, or that promotes scams, phishing, gambling, counterfeit goods or anything Instagram prohibits;
- break Instagram’s or Meta’s terms or policies, or evade their limits, filters or enforcement;
- collect data you have no right to collect, or misuse, sell or share your audience’s data;
- generate fake engagement, such as bots or paid comments, to trigger automations;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the Service or other users’ accounts;
- get around plan limits, or create multiple accounts to avoid limits, suspensions or bans;
- impersonate anyone, or mislead people about who is messaging them.
Fair usage
“Unlimited” on paid plans means unlimited for normal use of your own Instagram accounts, not unlimited for any purpose. Sending is always paced to stay within Instagram’s limits. Details are in the Fair Usage Policy.
Free plan branding
DMs sent on the Free plan include a short “Sent with Triggerfy” line. Don’t remove or hide it while on the Free plan. Paid plans send without it.
AI features
AI message rotation rewrites your messages so people don’t all receive identical text. AI output can be imperfect: you remain responsible for what is sent from your account and can turn rotation off at any time. Rotation and our sending safeguards reduce risk but can’t guarantee that Instagram won’t limit an account. AI features announced as “coming soon” may come with their own terms or usage limits when they launch.
Intellectual property
Triggerfy, its name, logo, software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. You keep ownership of your content and allow us to host and process it only to provide the Service to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
Suspension and termination
- You can stop using Triggerfy at any time, and delete your account from Settings → General.
- We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, put other users or our access to Instagram at risk, fail to pay, or if the law or Meta requires it. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- If we close your account for a breach, you are not entitled to a refund.
- When your account ends, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it running, but we don’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, particular delivery speeds, or results such as followers, reach or sales, and we can’t promise that Instagram won’t limit or restrict your account.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, data, followers or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 6 months before the claim arose, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and reasonable legal costs arising from your content or messages, or from your breach of these Terms, the law or Meta’s policies.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at support@triggerfy.app; we’ll try to resolve any issue in good faith within 30 days. If we can’t, the dispute will be settled by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in New Delhi, in English. Subject to that, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. This doesn’t stop you from approaching a consumer commission where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 allows.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
