Fair Usage Policy

What “unlimited” means on Triggerfy, and how we keep every account fast and safe on Instagram.

In short

Unlimited means no fixed cap for genuine use of your own Instagram account: replying to people who interacted with you. Instagram’s own sending limits always apply, so busy moments are queued, not dropped.

Cold outreach, spam, reselling or getting around Free limits isn’t fair use. We’ll try to talk to you before acting, unless there’s an urgent risk.

Why this exists

Pro and Elite include “unlimited” DMs and contacts so creators can grow without worrying about counters. This policy keeps Triggerfy fast, safe and fair for everyone, and protects your Instagram account from being flagged.

What “unlimited” means

It means no fixed monthly cap on DMs or contacts for genuine use of your own Instagram account: replying to your real audience, sharing links and offers they asked for, collecting emails they chose to give, and following up with people who interacted with you.

It doesn’t cover:

  • sending to people who didn’t interact with your account;
  • bulk, cold or unsolicited outreach;
  • spam-like or repetitive blasts, or sending the same message over and over to the same people;
  • running automations for other people’s accounts, or reselling the Service (contact us if that’s what you need);
  • automated, scripted or abnormal traffic that doesn’t come from real audience interactions.

Instagram and Meta limits

Instagram and Meta limit how fast and how often messages can be sent, on every plan. Triggerfy may queue, pace or delay messages to stay within those limits, so delivery speeds are targets, not guarantees. When load is high, Pro and Elite messages are sent from higher-priority queues and go out first.

Viral spikes

When a post goes viral, we may pace your messages to protect your account. Smart queues and viral-spike protection are included on Pro and Elite. On the Free plan, messages go through the standard queue, so during spikes they may be slower or more likely to be limited by Instagram.

What we may do

If usage looks abnormal, harms the platform or other users, or puts our access to Meta at risk, we may, with or without notice depending on how urgent it is:

  • contact you to understand what’s happening;
  • slow, pace or pause your automations;
  • apply temporary limits;
  • suspend or close your account for serious or repeated breaches.

We’ll try to warn you first unless there’s an urgent risk. If we suspend or close your account for breaking this policy, no refund is due.

Free plan limits

The Free plan includes the limits shown on our pricing page. Using multiple accounts, repeated sign-ups or other ways to get around these limits isn’t allowed. Paid plans’ limits are on the pricing page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product and Meta’s rules change. We’ll tell you about material changes by email or in the app.
