Data Deletion

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile → Menu → Settings and activity.
2. Tap Website permissions → Apps and websites.
3. Find Triggerfy under Active, tap Remove, and choose to delete the data Triggerfy holds about you.

Meta then tells us, and we immediately delete everything we hold about that Instagram account: its access token, automations, contacts, conversations, activity and analytics, and the images used in its DMs. You get a confirmation code, and you can check its status on this page.

Removing Triggerfy without asking for deletion only disconnects the account: we delete its access token and pause its automations, and keep the rest so you can reconnect.

Sign in and go to Settings → General → Delete account, then type your email to confirm. This permanently deletes your Triggerfy account and everything in it, for every connected Instagram account, and cancels any active subscription. It can’t be undone.

To remove a single Instagram account but keep your Triggerfy login, use Settings → Instagram and delete that account there.

Can’t sign in? Email support@triggerfy.app from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my data” and your Instagram username. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete the data, and reply with a confirmation within 7 days.

Deleted

• Your account details, sessions and notification preferences.
• Connected Instagram accounts and their access tokens.
• Automations, messages, links and uploaded images.
• Contacts, captured emails, conversations, activity and analytics.

Kept

• Invoices and payment records, for as long as Indian tax law requires. They hold only billing details, never Instagram data.
• A record of a Meta deletion request (its confirmation code and dates, no personal data), so the status below keeps working.

Deletions from Instagram or from Settings happen straight away. Email requests are completed within 7 days. Our encrypted database backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so deleted data also leaves them within 30 days.

If you received a DM from a creator who uses Triggerfy, you can ask that creator to remove you, or email support@triggerfy.app with your Instagram username and the creator’s username. We’ll delete your data from their account and make sure no automation messages you again. See the Privacy Policy for more.
